This award listing comes as well-deserved recognition of Funda's ongoing contributions to both Holman Webb's Insurance Group, and our clients.

As part of her role, Funda is responsible for a portfolio spanning personal injury, professional indemnity, recovery of complex and heavy claims (exceeding $30 million), matters relating to fraud and investigation claims, policy and indemnity issues, wills and estates, and various others.

Funda has worked across a broad range of jurisdictions, including Local Court, District Court, Supreme Court, Federal Court and Federal Circuit Court, the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal and the Australian Financial Complaints Authority, and AAT, more recently.

Taking into account the high level of experience gained over her three years as a qualified solicitor, Funda’s developing role within the team sees her responsible for mentoring a group of paralegals and junior lawyers, as well as organising and providing training on motor vehicle matters for the same.

Funda separates herself from majority of the lawyers at her level through her unique ability to advise on matters with a genuinely high level of commercial acumen, a skill that often takes decades to properly develop. She takes the time to understand her client’s strategic objectives, keeping in mind that legal spend is always a factor in the insurance industry.
