Whitley Foreman is a Senior Associate in Holman Webb’s Brisbane-based Dispute Resolution Group.

For the past 8 years Whitley has practiced extensively in general commercial litigation matters with a particular focus on insolvency.

She has acted on matters in Queensland and New South Wales, at the local, state and federal jurisdiction levels, and Victoria and Western Australia at both the local and state level.

Over her career, Whitley has acquired an extensive skill-set, acting for both industry professionals and private clients in various commercial matters, including:

• Performing high volume-debt recovery work
• Acting in complex and protracted civil and insolvency litigation
• Engaging in settlement negotiations and providing settlement advice
• Providing insolvency advice to insolvency practitioners and private business clients

Whitley seeks to understand her clients desired outcomes, and achieve those outcomes through diligent and decisive action.

Areas of Interest and Expertise

Whitley is passionate about the legal space where insolvency and trust law overlap, and accordingly, enjoys tackling a complex advice for her clients on the subject.

Since joining the team at Holman Webb, Whitley has developed an interest in financial services litigation, particularly assisting clients to pursue financial advisors for negligent advice and auditors for breaches of their obligations under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth).

Further, Whitley is passionate about nurturing the next generation of women in law, and always has time to mentor her colleagues.
