And the winner is…

We are pleased to announce that the winner of the Aged & Community Services (NSW & ACT) Volunteer award for 2015 is Jan Wright of St Catherine’s Aged Care, Bathurst, part of Catholic Health Care.

Jan has been attending St Catherine’s Aged Care as a volunteer for over 25 years, every week, providing activities for the residents, and spending one-on-one time with many, making residents feel part of the wider community and providing a positive impact on their emotional and social wellbeing.  She is also involved in fund-raising activities, holding a Christmas Stall every year.

St Catherine’s says “thank you Jan for making a difference to the lives of our residents and staff”.

The Health, Aged Care and Life Sciences team at Holman Webb Lawyers values its relationship with the ACS and has been proud to have sponsored the volunteers award for a number of years.  Such an award is consistent with our values of excellence, integrity, teamwork, sustainability and relationships and our community programs.
