Who We Are

Holman Webb is a commercial and insurance law firm with over 60 years experience and the scale to provide a top-tier level of legal services. At the same time, as a specialist commercial practice, we remain small enough to ensure all our clients are serviced:

  • by senior, partner led teams

  • in a timely fashion

  • cost efficiently.

We believe that being professional doesn’t mean being distant or aloof. Our clients tell us that we’re friendly and approachable. In fact we’re close enough to the business, culture and management objectives of our clients to perform as the legal people on their team.

In good company

Our clients include major insurers, national and multi-national corporations, SMEs, NFPs, and State Government departments operating in a range of industries around Australia. Many are business relationships that span twenty to thirty years.

We also have clients and affiliates in Europe, the United States, Asia and the Pacific region and are a member of Cicero, league of international lawyers and the State Capital Group

The Bottom-line

We have a strong track record of delivering hard commercial results successfully, and we understand that your result includes the cost of getting there. We'd be delighted to discuss how we can deliver better results for you: contact us.

Sustainability

At Holman Webb we recognise that our responsibilities extend beyond our business and professional clients, to include the communities and the environments in which we operate.

Linked to the Community

The value of Holman Webb lies in the collective intellect of our partners and staff. We therefore place particular value on the pro bono services we provide to charities that support the well being of people with intellectual and physical disabilities.

We also support intellectual development within our public high schools by participating annually as magistrates in the Inter-School Mock Trial Competition.

Additionally, we support charities and organisations that promote the arts, protect the environment and provide food assistance to people in need. In particular, Holman Webb is a sponsor of the Festival of Sydney. Australia’s largest cultural event focuses on community access to free and subsidised performances across the city.

Linked to the Environment

As a knowledge service provider, the environmental footprint of Holman Webb is small. Yet no matter the size, we believe that every organisation must play its role to reduce the environmental impact of our cities. Holman Webb is a supporter of the Earth Hour initiative in the three Australian capital cities in which it operates.

Our office buildings are all NABERS Energy and Water rated for efficiency. We have implemented procedures for equipment to hibernate when inactive and we have greatly reduced our paper consumption with double-sided copying and printing. We actively recycle waste materials and we endevour wherever possible to use suppliers that have an environmental and sustainability policy.
